Ebru Inspired Acrylic Pouring

Ebru Inspired Acrylic Pouring

Ebru inspired fluid acrylic painting I mixed pouring medium with acrylic paints and added silicon oil just before starting on this painting I taped edges of canvas to hold large amount of white paint Pooled large amount of white on the canvas Carefully spread it evenly I decided to make some roses with magenta color I dipped brush in yellow color and made lines in the roses The lines are created here with the flow movement of liquid colors I clean brush with paper towel every time before dipping in the color I was able to create rose petals Now to define outer petals of roses, I am using clean brush and pulling white inside Cleaning the brush before every use Fluid movement is very important in Ebru technique, and by pooling white, I can create this movement on canvas This video is running on 4X speed.

Actual process was very slow:) I had prepared this video for a cyan, magenta, yellow and white challenge so using cyan for leaves Pulling out color in alternate directions To create distinct shapes of leaves, I will pull down the white color with the brush From top and from other directions Now some yellow flowers and I will make a different flower this time Making flower outlines with magenta I am using a nail art dotting tool here for finer lines Cleaning it after every use I need a dark center in this flower Next flower is a dog flower Flower buds And now for this bouquet, I need to create flower stems:) Some more flowers I am trying to spray some paint on the canvas but clearly color is too thick for it In a cup, I layered magenta, cyan and yellow Adding ribbons in the side Refining shapes I decided to make some more flowers with dirty pour mixture Painting is complete, thanks for watching!
